DSIM Research Support Program

In order to support researchers in power electronics related fields, DSIM is proud to introduce the "Research Support Program" to provide researchers with the power electronics simulation tool DSIM to foster research advancements.

1. Eligibility

The program aims at faculty and research staff in colleges or universities.

2. Application and Review

Applicants need to submit an application form (provided at the end of the article), including necessary related materials. Experts will be organized to review the materials and decide on the program recipients. There will be up to five program recipients.

The application needs to include:

    (1) Research proposal: the research proposal must contain:

         a. project title,

         b. context and motivation for this project,

         c. expected outcome of the project,

         d. problems in the past simulation experience,

         e. reasons for using DSIM,

         f. analysis of preliminary simulation results for DSIM,

         g. project plan and timeline.

(For simulation result analysis, DSIM trial access is available at dsimtechnology.com/try_dsim.)

   (2) Applicant information, including but not limited to the photo of the employee’s card and education email address.

3. Application Deadline

Deadline for submitting the application: 31st December 2026.

4. We Will Provide:

Five DSIM licenses (two years) with the enterprise version.

5. Further Steps:

After successful application, if you can meet the following conditions and provide necessary materials within the first two years, you will become DSIM partner and continue to obtain 5 licenses (an additional one year) with the latest version:

   (1) Provide materials of research results: the homepage of a published academic paper (simulation results using DSIM in the paper need to be marked with words, like "Simulated by DSIM"), or photos including DSIM in academic conferences (indexed by EI/SCI).

   (2) Participate in DSIM webinar once if invited and present research projects using DSIM.

After that, you only need to continue to provide the above-required materials every year to become long-term DSIM partner and continue to obtain DSIM licenses.
